Areas of expertise
The FPPC’s areas of expertise are:
- a president on full-time leave to represent college professional employees;
- four delegates – members of the Executive Council – who, in collaboration with and in support of the president, handle certain matters when the need arises;
- one advisor specialized in labour relations to represent exclusively the interests of college professionals;
- a knowledgeable team to carry out the FPPC strategic plan which is designed to promote the value of each of the employment groups its members are part of;
- a range of documents which can help members of local executives better carry out their work (union toolbox, reference material given to newly hired professionals, annotated collective agreement, etc.);
- During negotiations: hiring a second advisor specialized in negotiations to support the two members of the negotiation team elected by delegates of the Federal Council who are on full-time leave for the duration of the negotiations.
FPPC’s various specialized committees
